Amy began her 22-year career in education after experiencing the dedicated faculty at Allendale Columbia School first-hand as a student at AC. After receiving her master’s degree in Education, she worked in public school in Massachusetts. Amy and her family moved back to Rochester, and when her youngest child started kindergarten, she began substitute teaching at AC and eventually took a full-time position as a kindergarten teacher.
Why did you decide to go into this line of work?
I experienced the benefits of small class instruction as a student at AC, and I realized I could impact children for the rest of their lives in a positive manner.
If you could do any job in the world besides what you do now, what would it be?
I would work in Admissions for Allendale Columbia, because I wholeheartedly believe in the school.
