AC's College Advisor Shares Tips for Enjoying Your Summer Wisely

Posted on March 25th, 2014 by klapa

On Friday, March 21, Kristin Merriman, AC’s College Advisor, gave an Upper School Mini Assembly on “Enjoying Your Summer Wisely.” The summer months are an excellent time for Upper School students to continue to pursue meaningful activities ranging from volunteer experiences or summer college programs to part-time work experiences or career shadowing opportunities. Upper School students are encouraged to pursue at least one meaningful experience (or more!) every summer because these experiences will be assets both in the college search and college application process. Students are encouraged to plan ahead and to consider all of the resources available here in Rochester and possibly beyond. Click here to view the presentation; Ms. Merriman is happy to help students brainstorm possible meaningful activities for the summer and has resources in her office for families to use.
