We are moving the Lower School Parents’ Night to Monday, September 17th. The time, location, and agenda remain the same. We are doing this to avoid any conflicts with families who will be celebrating Yom Kippur on the evening of Tuesday, September 18th. We apologize for the brief notice on this change and hope you can still attend. This does mean that Parents’ Night for both Lower School and Middle School will happen at AC on Monday, Sept. 17th. We recognize that some families have students in both divisions so we have developed a format that allows you to enjoy both events.
Lower School Parents Program, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Lower School parents are invited to AC to follow your child(ren)’s schedule and meet our faculty. We will have some light food and drinks available from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. and then parents will be able to follow the half-hour program from 6:45 – 7:15 p.m. or 7:15 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. This allows you to visit the classrooms more than once, or complete the half-hour program and then move on to the Middle School open house program. Families are welcome to bring other children to the Lower School classrooms if need be since nothing sensitive will be discussed. Please be sure to keep your children with you if you are also visiting the Middle School program. Click here to review the agenda for the Lower School Parents’ Night.
Middle School Parents Program, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Middle School students are invited to attend with their parents and siblings. We will have some light food and drinks available in the Dining Commons from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. and the format is casual. The “open house” format for the night will begin with a short welcome at 7:00 p.m. in the Dining Commons and then students will be walking their parents around to all of their classes. Teachers will be in their classrooms and available to tell you more about our program, curriculum, and some of the exciting things that we have planned for your children this year. Parents are welcome to visit all of the teachers or just a few, and you are welcome to stay for the entire time and really explore, or just visit for the time you have.
