Design & Innovation: From STEM to STREAM
At AC, we believe knowledge and mastery of content is essential, but it must be coupled with the ability to apply it in meaningful and creative ways. We intentionally create opportunities for students to engage in converging disciplines in through collaborative coursework across STREAM (Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and as students apply their knowledge, silos of content areas disappear, depth of understanding grows, and lifelong learning develops, no matter the age of the student.
Building on our tradition of academic excellence, AC students and faculty will actively partner with businesses, universities, and organizations worldwide. Through problem solving, design work, relevant and translational research, students will learn to collaborate across networks, lead by influence and develop agility and adaptability.
