Reunion 2017 brought together over 300 alumni and guests for a weekend of fun and fellowship! Read about the lineup of activities below. We especially welcomed the Class of 1967 for their 50th Reunion, the 5-year-milestone classes with years ending in 2 or 7, and all others who joined in the fellowship and fun.

Nancy Northup '77DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD LUNCHEON

12:00 -1:30 p.m. 

Members of the Board of Trustees and the Alumni Association Board presented the 9th annual Distinguished Alumni Award to Nancy Northup ’77. Established in 2009 to honor alumni for their outstanding achievements and contributions to both Allendale Columbia School and their local community, the AC Alumni Board is proud to recognize Nancy as an alumna who has made a regional, national, and international impact while also serving as a role model for young people around the world. As one nomination letter stated, “Nancy is a credit to AC, but, more importantly, she is someone who young people can look up to and see that one person can indeed make a difference in people’s lives.” Click here for a more complete bio.

THE MARK von BUCHER ’08 HAC ALUMNI SOCCER GAME
Upper Field, 10:30 a.m.
Long-time Coach Ted Hunt managed the 11th annual Mark von Bucher ’08 HAC Alumni Soccer game. All former HAC boys’ soccer players were invited. Please join the Facebook group: ‘HAC Mens Soccer Alums’ for more info, and mark your calendar for next year’s game on Saturday, June 16th, 2018!

 

ALL ALUMNI LUNCH
Dining Commons, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (in case of rain, lunch will be in the Alumni Gymnasium)
We filled the Dining Commons with a family-friendly, complimentary lunch featuring drinks, wraps, sandwiches, salad, and dessert. It was the perfect stop between alumni games or before the campus tours!

 

TOURS OF THE SCHOOL
Welcome Desk, 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
When is the last time you walked the hallways and explored your favorite spaces on campus? Have you seen the new Design and Innovation Lab? If you missed the guided tours of the school by Head of Middle School Tina Duver and School Librarian Judy Van Alstyne ’88, you can still contact us for a personal tour any time at alumni@allendalecolumbia.org and to learn more about Allendale Columbia School today.

 

VOYAGE ON THE SAM PATCH
Schoen Place, Pittsford, 11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Boat departs promptly at 12:00 p.m.
In honor of the class of 1967’s 50th reunion, alumni joined us on a private charter going 15 miles down the Erie Canal aboard the authentic packet boat replica: Sam Patch. Lunch was provided.

 

HAC MEN’S ALUMNI BASKETBALL GAME
Gannett Gymnasium, 1:00 p.m.
HAC boy’s basketball alumni joined Peter Gregory ’03 for the 8th annual HAC Men’s Alumni Basketball Game. Please join the Facebook group ‘HAC Men’s Basketball Alumni’ for more info.

 

ALL ALUMNI COCKTAIL PARTY
Birches Courtyard, 5:00 p.m.
Classmates and friends enjoyed the best party in town on Saturday night, with delicious hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, music, and a chance to mingle with former and current faculty as well as old friends and new!

 

COCKTAIL PARTY FOR PARENTS OF ALUMNI
Design & Innovation Lab, 5:30 p.m.
Why should the kids have all the fun? Parents of alumni joined us for hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and delicious desserts by Claire Dubnik P ’14.
