Rochester will be in the path of a total solar eclipse for the first time since 1925. Join us to celebrate this once in a lifetime event at Allendale Columbia School’s beautiful campus! Family activities will include games, self-guided nature walk, and hands-on STEAM stations. Live-streaming viewing available in the event of cloudy skies.
This event will bring GSA members, GSA advisors, and families of the LGBTQ+ community together. There will be opportunities for learning, networking, building community and belonging, and showcasing the great amount of support for LGBTQ+ families in the region. This event will be a celebration of the fullness of humanity of the LGBTQ+ community, embracing the joy and pride in being our authentic selves. We will focus on building community through student panel discussions, networking, and keynote speaker, Brittan Hardgers.
The DEIB Parent Committee looks forward to engaging with the AC community to build both compassionate connections rooted in social justice and an awareness of equity potentials.
During this meeting, our discussion will focus on Cultural Integration in the Classroom. We'll also welcome questions and topics participants would like to discuss moving forward. Please be sure to RSVP and submit your questions prior to the meeting. All are encouraged to attend!
Once a month the Nursery and Pre-K students wear a specific color or pattern as they learn about different colors, shapes and patterns in their classrooms.
