AC STUDENTS EARN “BEST IN STATE” TITLE - Right before the COVID-19 pandemic, a group of AC students competed in the Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science competition. On the day of the competition, they worked together on a 90-minute, 80-question multiple choice test and completed an engineering challenge in which they had to create the lightest crane to lift the most weight to the greatest height. The students won the competition, earning the title of NYS Champions, and their win earned them a position at the National competition. The National competition, however, was cancelled due to the pandemic. Please join us in congratulating our students on a job well done!

In keeping with the tradition of giving during the holidays, AC will once again give back to the community. This year, AC junior Chloe Fowler is organizing a combined middle and upper school toy collection drive to support the children at Golisano Children's Hospital. The drive will kick off Friday, December 4th, and end Wednesday, December 16th.

Students have been divided into three teams to collect the items on the wishlist:

Team 1: Grades 6-8 (infant toys)
Team 2: Grades 9 and 11 (toddler and school-age toys)
Team 3: Grades 10 and 12 (teen gifts)

Toys should be new, unwrapped, and in their original packaging, and they should be dropped off in the designated collection box under the portico by the AC front door. The team that collects the most gifts from the wishlist will win a prize of their choice!

Friends and families are also encouraged to donate!
